A poll to discover the Premier League’s most hated club has thrown up some surprising results.
Trinity Mirror have ran a poll asking fans whether they love, hate or are indifferent to each Premier League club on the cusp of the new 2018/19 campaign which begins with the Community Shield between Manchester City and Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday.
Chelsea topped the poll with 68.7 percent of fans saying they did not like the Stamford Bridge club while 68.1 percent expressed their hatred for Manchester United.
Liverpool came out in third spot on 52.8 percent with West Ham United on 47.6 percent and Arsenal on 46.2 percent making up the top five.

Chelsea fans view United as their fiercest rivals with 84.7 percent of fans saying their hate the club managed by their former manager Jose Mourinho.
Tottenham hate Chelsea more than Arsenal with 95 percent of fans saying they hate the Blues compared to the 93.5 percent who detest their London neighbours.
