A government soldier has shot and killed the deputy commander of the country’s presidential guards Col. Abdi Abdulle Goor-gaab at the gate of Villa Somalia in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Deputy Commander of Somalia’s Presidential Palace Co.l Abdi Abdulle Mohamud Qorgab was killed by the soldier after an argument, according to sources.
The soldier who killed the colonel has escaped on foot from the shooting scene.
Somali security officials did not comment on the incident.
