Four Kenya Defence Force (KDF) soldiers have reportedly been killed in an attack in southern Somalia.KDF soldiers ambushed in Somalia.
According to reports from Somalia, the Kenyan soldiers were killed after their convoy was ambushed at Hawina village near Dhobley town in lower Jubba region.
The incident is said to have occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, December 7.

KDF soldiers killed in an ambush by al-Shabaab militants.
Terror group al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement.
The militants also claimed to have injured several other soldiers during the attack.

An armored vehicle destroyed during an ambush by al-Shabaab militants.
Al-Shabaab also said it had burnt an armoured KDF vehicle during the attack.
The Kenyan military is yet confirm the incident.
