Police have issued a warning that terror group Al-Shabaab may be planning to launch attacks in the country after being attacked by KDF and Somali National Army.

They want Kenyans to be vigilant and report any suspicious people or objects. According to National Police Service spokesman George Kinoti, the militants have been fleeing their country towards Kenya and there is a real danger that some may stage attacks in Kenya.

Security agencies want security guards to be thorough in screening pedestrians and vehicles entering premises. Matatus, hotel operators and other service providers are also urged to be extra vigilant.
