Ahmed Abdi Kahin, Somaliland Minister for Sports and Youth, tendered his resignation to the President of the Republic of Somaliland, at about noon today.Mr. Kahin said he will remain an active member of Kulmiye and has resigned to fill a seat that only him can take in the Parliament following the death of its late occupant MP Mohamed Barkhad Miigganeh.

Continuing a disgruntled line of ex-government and Party officials, the 2nd and 3rd Deputies to the Chairman of the ruling party, Mohamed Yussuf Waabeeye and Abdirahman Mohamed Talyanle  resigned their membership of the party’s convention organizing committee at the same time, and boldly spoke out against what they called ‘shady dealings’ revolving around the preparation of the Kulmiye Central Committee Convention.

The two officers, as published in some websites, did not forfeit their membership of the ruling party or leave their positions.

The two deputies echoed afore-claimed allegations that Mr. Musa Behi Abdi, Kulmiye Chairman was not alltogether truthful or honest about the issuance of Party Central Committee Convention cards.

These latest resignations confirm a rumpured list of 21 top officers who had their resignations prepared even before the President arrived from his near-month long visit that had seen him hop across Ethiopia, UAE, Ireland and UK.

On the other hand, His Excellency the President of RoS, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud ‘Siilaanyo’, appointed Ex-Deputy Minister for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Ahmed Farah Adarre to a full ministership at Justice.Ministerss
