His Excellency the President of the Republic of Somaliland (RoS), Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud “Siilaanyo”, today, made some changes to the positions of Director Generals affecting four critical ministries.
In a Presidential Decree that the President’s Office released to the media, the President made the following changes effective from today:
- Abib Ahmed Ali becomes the Director General of the Ministry of Education
- Yussuf Ahmed Ali, formerly of Health, becomes the Director General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education
- Mohamed Hassan Ibrahim, formerly of Education, becomes the Director General of Finance
- Suleiman Derie Jama, formerly of Finance, becomes the Director General of Health
- Abdirahman Mohamed Muhumed (Abdeeq) – a new appointee – becomes the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
