Unknown gunmen have shot a 50-years-old woman dead in an area sandwiched between Bufoow and Janaale towns in south of Somalia, witnesses said.
A mother of eight children, whose name has not been released, was gunned down over clan revenge in Bulo-Hamali urban area, a witness told Shabelle Media based in Mogadishu.
She was hit several times on the head, chest and neck and died on the shooting scene instantly” Abdirashid, a local resident told Shabelle Media via phone.
“I can confirm you that the murder is clan retaliatory” he said
The killers escaped from the crime spot uncaught.
Somalia’s local authority was unavailable to reach on the phone for comments on the incident.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the murder.
