Islamic State has claimed responsibility for four car bombings that targeted pro-Houthi locations in Sana’a, Yemen, on Wednesday.
The death toll is not immediately known, with the Yemeni Ministry of Health saying at least five people are dead, and a spokesman for the Houthi-allied army reporting at least 24 were killed.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombings, which occurred outside of two mosques, a political office, and the home of Houthi cleric Taha al-Mutawakel, on Twitter.Peace talks are being held in Geneva in an attempt to stop fighting between the Houthis and government forces loyal to President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi,CNN reports.
