The Somali Federal Government has made complaints to the foreign affairs ministry of Iran after the current Iranian ambassador to Somalia has humilated, slapped in the face of Assistant Minister on foreign affairs of Somalia Mr. Ahmed Ali Kadliye.
The incident happened after Javad Dehghan Lotfabadi, the Iranian ambassador asked the deputy foreign affairs minister to come into his office and while the diplomat is furious over the coalition of Saudi Arabia that is bombarding the Houthi militia which Somalia has supported.
He slapped the minister on his face and uttered offensive words against the minister.
The Somali Federal Government has sent a formal letter to the Iranian government n protest of the misconduct of her diplomat in Somalia but the Iranian government so far has not replied.
