At least 3 people including an officer of Somali Ministry of Transport have been shot and killed in a drive by shooting by gunmen in Mogadishu, witnesses said.
The slain officer whose name has been identified as Omar Ubah and his 2 followers were killed by armed gunmen in Wadajir district after their vehicle was pulled up another with assailants, witnesses said.
In the aftermath of the attack, the gunmen have escaped immediately from the crime scene. No one was arrested over the incident, according to residents.
Meanwhile, Somalia’s Wadajir district administrative officials were unavailable to reach on the phone for comments on the killing against an employee of Ministry of Transport.
