She promised to the parliament speaker that the UK embassy will conduct an investigation into the allegations that opposition raises their concerns over the task of Rapid Response Unit.

Ms. Lizzie Lovett has confirmed that the UK and Somaliland entered into an agreement that the RRU will not be taken advantage by the government so that it will harass its people or the opposition political parties.

She has welcomed the announcement made by the National Election Commission confirming that polls will be held in a matter of a year.

She called on the stakeholders be it the three political parties and the house of Elders not to take the wrong direction.

The announcement is a nail in the coffin when it comes to Wadani opposition leader and the current speaker of the parliament who refuted media reports that his party is behind the submission of the case against the RRU to the UK government.
