He said the Government was planning to recruit more police officers to resolve the shortage of 30,000 police officers.
He said it has recruited 7,000 last year and would be recruiting another 3,000 officers this year, and it would employ 10,000 officers on April 20 who would be able to report for training as soon as possible.
