Reports from Gedo region indicate that up to four staff members of an International NGO serving in the area were hijacked between Garilley and Faafahdun by suspected members of Al-Shabaab.
French owned NGO Soladirto was in the last few days giving financial stipends to local regions to boost their living standards.
Sources say those abducted were commandeered to the side of Baardheere which is under the control of Al-Shabaab militia.
They were all reported to be Somali nationals.
