News reaching us from Qoryooley town in Lower Shabelle region indicates that the bodies of three youthful people were discovered in an area 3km outside the town. Two of the victims were beheaded while the third one has gunshot wounds to his chest and head. Speaking to the local media, Sultan Ahmed Hussein Hashi who is among the intellectuals of Qoryooley district confirmed that the bodies were found in a settlement 3km to the north of the town. The Sultan also said that those behind the killings were people who work with African Union forces AMISOM. There was no official comment on the issue from the regional administration of Lower Shabelle and the Federal government of Somalia.
