Finance Minister accompanied by Commerce Minister toured Abaarso, Kalabaydh and Wajale Customs Yesterday and the mission was to oversee the collection of taxes.
They listened to reports and briefs made be heads of Customs and the two ministers urged to double their efforts to increase the revenues.
The visit embarked upon by the two ministers coincides a s a time when finance minister and the president put the national budget into effect.
The Somaliland Shilling exchange rate compared to Dollar currency has been increased.
1 dollar is equivalent to 5000 SL Shilling while it used to be 4500 SL Shilling.
